Andrew video Seshin video part

Name and age:
Andrew Gobbo, the youngest old man you'll ever meet (23)

Location and years riding:
Living in Dundas, Ontario, right now, where it all started some10 years ago

Andrew, describe your riding style:
Street.
...and just for the record, I've never run a freecoaster, nor have I ever seriously sported a front brake though a lot of people that don't really know me seem to think I do or have.

You have an older brother who rides BMX, does he push you with your riding?
If by "push" you mean drive my ass around and calling out everything before I do (or don't do it, then hells yes. He's awesome, but he's in Vancouver right now, so no little road trips or street missions for a little while...

How many years have you been riding for Seshin?
Oh shit. Has it been like 3 or 4 years? It's been so good the time has just flown by.

What are you into as far as music goes?
Such a simple yet tough question. Basically, I like to think my taste in music goes through a lot of genres, but basically I like stuff that’s original or unique and good. I like music that doesn't necessarily sound like something lese you've heard, a lot of music turns me off like that. Go listen to something by the Go! Team or Buck 65 or MF Doom and you'll know what I mean. Lately I've stumbled upon some good older stuff that I'm loving just as much though, like the Sonics and Frankie Valli.

Five websites you check most often:
Well I assume you mean something other than gmail or the weather network, so straight out of my bookmark toolbar, we've got the Seshin site, RedBMX blog (Canada represent!), repset.net, gnarwhale.com, and youtube I guess (strictly bmx related, other than that the site can lick balls)

Any bad injuries from riding?
Luckily no. (knock on wood) I've technically broken my left collarbone three different times, though once was a re-break and the other was when I was like 5 or something (still from shreddin though...those gravelly paths will get you!)

Ever eat a Philly cheese steak?
Definately not. I don't eat meat and I've never been to Philly, but I'd like to change ONE of those facts.

Tell us a story, a random funny story.
You always do this to me with the stories! This one time, at the grocery store, I bought some apples, and the teller rang them through as granny smith apples, even though they were clearly Gala, and the granny smith were on sale for like $0.69/Lb, and so I got this sweet ass deal on apples, and the teller didn't even know, and I never even told anyone until now.

Any last words, or thanks?
First and foremost I'd like to give a big shout out to me, for being so awesome. Seshin too, they're pretty Rad themselves. Thanks to my parents, who may or may not ever actually read this, but are awesome nonetheless, my brother, who's also awesome, cause he's put up with a lot of my shit. Big shout out to my boys Jay and Will for the fantastic indoor park and all the good times (inflowpark.com)! Thanks to everyone else I ride with for being awesome, everyone who's helped with filming and everything for the Hamilton video, Nicholas Murray for providing constant comic relief (and a steady filming hand), and thanks to everyone who has and will talk shit on me. I know you're out there. Love y'all.
